Outdoor living spaces often include kitchen areas to make entertaining more convenient and enjoyable.
1. After the design has been completed the appliances will need to be purchased and on site before any construction can begin. This will include items such as a barbecue grill, refrigerator, trash compactor/trash storage bin, pizza oven, sink, television and any other items you may choose to have installed.
2. Hardscape installation is the first part of construction. This will include the brick paving and vertical surfaces that will contain the outdoor appliances to become the kitchen area. In addition, you may have pillars, seat walls, water features, fire pit or fire place.
3. Next, a mechanical contractor will be needed to connect gas, electric, (water/sewer if desired) and possible speakers for your outdoor area.
4. Last, a counter top fabricator will be needed to measure and install the counter tops.
Usually the landscape contractor coordinates the entire project because the hardscape installation is the most labor intense part of an outdoor kitchen.
