Fall Things to Do:

We are now into fall.  The weather has changed from warm and sunny to chilly and damp.  Now is the time to do a few important things to keep your landscaping healthy and protected.

1.  Winterize your sprinkler system.  It is now safe to get your sprinkler system winterized.  This service is done to protect your sprinklers during the freezing temperatures the winter months. This needs to be done before the first frost to avoid damage to the system.

2.  Cut back your plants such as roses, hydrangea, and perennials.  This is done to promote strong vigor growth in the spring.

3.  Clean the leaves off your lawn.  Leaves are still falling from the trees.  It is important to get them all cleaned up before the first snow fall.  Failing to do so can cause areas of your lawn to die or develop mold in the spring.

Taking these few easy steps will help protect your lawn and landscaping over the winter and into the spring.
